OSHA 10 & 30 hour General Industry Training

OSHA Outreach Trainer.png

The OSHA 10 & 30 Hour General Industry training is intended for general industry workers.
This course can be provided at your worksite or we can arrange to host the class.

This training will…

Provide workers with information on how to identify, eliminate, avoid, and prevent job-related
hazards in the workplace.

Inform workers about their rights and their employer’s responsibilities, and explain how to file a complaint with OSHA (Federal or State Office).

Cover a variety of general industry safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter.

What is OSHA Outreach Training?
The OSHA Outreach Training Program is intended for workers covered under the OSH Act. The Occupational Safety and Health Act covers private-sector employers and their employees in the 50 states and certain territories and jurisdictions under federal authority.

While the OSHA Outreach Training Program course is voluntary and does not meet the training requirements contained in specific OSHA standard, some states and local jurisdictions have enacted laws mandating outreach training. Additionally, safety conscious employers, unions, and various other organizations also require workers to have this training to work on job sites and to fulfill their own safety training goals.

For OSHA’s training-related requirements, see OSHA Publication #2254, Training Requirements in OSHA Standards and Training Guidelines.

Training Delivery
The training will take a minimum of 10 or 30 hours to complete, and is limited by OSHA to a maximum of 7 1/2 hours of training per day.

  • Our standard 2-day delivery (10hr Course) format will be 7 hours on the first day and 3 hours on the second day.

  • Our standard 4-day delivery (30hr Course) format will include 7 1/2 hours of training over 4 successive days.
