who are exposed or respond to hazardous wastes/sites by attending Safety University’s HAZWOPER
Refresher training.

Safety University provides a dynamic, interactive, cutting edge 8 Hour HAZWOPER Refresher course is intended for workers who need to refresh an existing HAZWOPER 24/40 (General Site Workers) or First Responder Operations/Hazardous Materials Technician (Emergency Responders) certification. We pride ourselves with ensuring that our curriculum engages our students so they can complete the course feeling it was worthwhile and not merely a compliance training.

Our course is provided in person, self-paced online, or in Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) sessions.

Learners must have completed the 24-hour/40-hour or FRO/HMT HAZWOPER course within the last 12 months as a course prerequisite.
